In a run-up to next month’s Chili Bowl, Millbridge Speedway hosted the 1st annual DeaEdge Carolina Midget Showdown on Saturday December 12, 2020 presented by Tex-A-Con Cut Stone.
Not only a tune-up race for the deservedly hyped Tulsa Chili Bowl the weekends dirt racing it was also a bonding experience for 2021 Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott.
Elliott was oozing praise for the help he was receiving from the dirt master King Larson.
The first feature was won by Chase Briscoe who took the 30-lap race but not after a fierce skirmish with Okie Ryan Timms.
Kyle Larson unsurprisingly went on the dominate the second feature. His performances in the first feature, the heats, and qualifying earned Larson the big win and $2000.
