  • Joe Gibbs Youth For Tomorrow

    Joe Gibbs Youth For Tomorrow- provides safe and healthy residences for boys and girls 12-18 years of age. The children attend our state accredited secondary school and receive regularly scheduled therapy from certified/licensed therapists. YFT employs dedicated teachers, counselors, house parents and other professional staff. Since 1986, YFT has reached over 1000 youth who have been successfully served by our integrated three component program: Residential, Education and Counseling. These are supported by supervision and safety, self-reliance and the development of internal relationships, self discipline, intellectual motivation, moral integrity and a spiritual foundation that contribute to positive behavior in an everlasting manner in each participant. Children who are referred to YFT have struggled with one or more of the following issues: Foster care, poor academic performance/special needs, Criminal behavioral patterns, substance abuse, family crises, mental health disorders, pregnant teens and teen mothers, domestic minor sex trafficked girls and sexually abused/exploited youth.

    Beat The Heat- is a national non-profit organization comprised of Police Officers and Firefighters who conduct educational programs using marked emergency vehicle drag cars to gain the interest of the public. Heat Members develop programs and activities to serve their individual communities using the Goals of Beat the Heat, Inc. as a guide. These goals are to EDUCATE the young people of our communities about the problems of illegal drug and alcohol use and the horrors of impaired and distracted driving, To ENCOURAGE young people to stay in school and be an achiever in life, to PROMOTE a better UNDERSTANDING between the Police and the communities they serve and to EDUCATE the general public about the sport of drag racing, and encourage everyone to race on the dragstrip NOT IN THE STREET.

  • Eastern Museum of Motor Racing (EMMR)

    EMMR, located in York Springs, Pennsylvania, strongly reflects the popularity of the open wheel, dirt track racing so popular throughout the northeast, you can also see a wide variety of racing machines from many other forms of racing.  These include everything from sprint cars, midgets, and stock cars to motorcycles, Indy cars, NASCAR, drag racing and more! The museum is built on a wooded hillside overlooking the historic Latimore Valley Fairgrounds and Racetrack. Along with establishing one the premier racing museums in the country, the 40 acre fairgrounds and racetrack were also passionately restored to their original beauty. This creates an almost magical atmosphere that makes EMMR a "living museum". Several times each year EMMR holds public events where these historic cars are again brought to life and can be seen as they were meant to be seen ... On the Racetrack!
